Connect 24 Business Alliance (C24BA) was officially formed in early 2021 after both the Randolph and Stoughton Board members agreed that a merger of the two Chambers was an idea that would garner many benefits for their collective members.
The combined knowledge, skills, and member businesses of the new C24BA can provide larger resources to our members, be a more effective advocate for them, and help connect our members to the support that promotes growth. We want our members — and the surrounding community — to know that C24BA is a new, dynamic, and committed business development organization.
About Our Name
“Connect 24” resonated with the Board and Merger Committee because geographically, Route 24 runs right through both Randolph and Stoughton and is a well-traveled route for surrounding communities. Also, we liked the more subtle and implied “we’re always connected and here for you every single day.”
The Randolph and Stoughton Chambers bring a combined 58 years of history and experience between them, creating a strong foundation on which to grow C24BA.
The Randolph Chamber was founded in 1986, and as the third largest manufacturing town on the South Shore, has long been a hive of business activity. The Stoughton Chamber was formed in 1998 to develop, promote, and advance the business interests of their community.
Today’s organization, Connect 24 Business Alliance, continues to be not-for-profit and committed to many of the previous Chambers’ founding values and goals while also seeking new ways to grow and support our members and local businesses.
Looking Forward Together
We’re proud that our Board and member businesses reflect the great diversity and spirit of collaboration that runs through our communities.
Our member businesses run the gamut from large manufacturing and world headquarters to small and micro home-based businesses. And we are here to provide leadership and support to all of them while also creating an environment that welcomes and nurtures new businesses.
