November Business After Hours Networking

November 16 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

We’re excited to be offering Business Before/After Hours (BBH/BAH) events the 3rd Wednesday of every month. Join other C24BA members and local business owners for some fun, in-person networking!

The November BAH will be hosted by member Anya Zulawnik, Station Manager of SMAC.

Please RSVP!

Stoughton Media Access Corporation (SMAC) is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization providing the residents of Stoughton with the ability to create and produce their own Public/Government/Educational access programs. SMAC was formed in November of 2009 and has built an access facility in north Stoughton, open since 2011.

SMAC is overseen by a five member Board of Directors and operated by a Studio Manager. If you are interested in learning how to produce your own show or assist with creating a current show,  email Anya at <azulawnik@stoughtontv.com>. We are always looking for people to assist with crew positions of our current shows as well as future shows that are in the works.

Don’t Just Watch TV! MAKE IT!

Meet Anya Zulawnik, new Station Manager

Anya Zulawnik has over 12 years of PEG Access experience. She worked for almost seven years as a community coordinator for Westford CAT and close to three and half years for Harvard Cable TV as a station manager. While at HCTV she was responsible for all aspects of station management.

She is very excited about her new position at SMAC. She started working as station manager at the beginning of March and sees her new position as a place where there are countless possibilities. One of the aspects she loves about PEG Access TV is helping residents create their own programs. In her career she participated in many different projects including quiz shows, documentaries, talk shows, music videos, and short movies. She feels like a “Jack of all trades”, someone who can fill in any position and help at the last minute, from holding a boom mic, to playing a teacher in a student’s short movie, or helping with special effects during post-production. She also worked for three other companies, one of them being Comcast where one of the projects she worked on was providing a voice-over for a commercial about digital divide.

She is hoping to help Stoughton residents with creating their own shows and videos with a local flavor. She already has some ideas for local shows, and she asks all residents interested in bringing their vision to the local screen to give her a call at 781-341-1708.

She lives with her husband and has two sons, who are in college, in Chelmsford, MA. Since she can remember, she has had a great passion for Motion Arts and hopes to bring lots of excitement and new projects to SMAC. She is looking forward to working with the SMAC Board, staff, and Stoughton’s departments, residents, and different organizations.
