Postponed for Now: Your Business Exit Strategy

April 26 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

What's your exit strategy

Planning for Tomorrow: How to be ready to sell your business when it’s time.

This event has been unavoidably postponed. We will let you know when we have a new date and time.

Business owners are facing trying times. Escalating costs, supply change issues, employee vacancies, and dealing with the pandemic are just a few of the large challenges business owners face today. Often, it leaves little time to plan for the future.

As many as 28,000 MA small businesses could sell or close over the next several years, according to research by the Massachusetts Center for Employee Ownership. Additional research shows that nine small businesses close and liquidate for every one that sells. This has an enormous impact, not just for the business owners, because when that many businesses have to close, hundreds of thousands of employees lose their jobs.

The Cooperative Development Institute (CDI) helps businesses insure a continuation of their business, provide security for workers though job preservation, and allow owners to receive the fruits of their labor.

As you think about the future, are you – and your business – prepared?

Bill Jenkins from the Cooperative Development Institute will talk to us about how business owners can and should create an exit strategy. You’ll walk away with an understanding of what needs to be in place, how to prepare and plan for the exit strategy, and who can help you along the way.

Postponed and will be rescheduled.
